Dave and his team did a great job constructing our 300 foot dock. Excellent materials and workmanship is evident in every aspect of the build. Can not recommend them enough.
Wilmington, North CarolinaDavid Logan demonstrated exceptional capability, regional niche expertise, and excellent flexibility and teamwork to overcome project challenges and complications. For example, when project specifications required clarifications to pier elevations, David Logan provided technical advice and guidance that helped the government determine the elevation. Such outstanding efforts were commended by the Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS).
Additionally, one of the construction sites was located inside an archaeological zone in a marina at Camp Lejeune, requiring additional coordination to obtain environmental and archaeological work permits during the design phase. Logan Marine provided significant effort over the design phase to coordinate the permits and drawings on time and across multiple stakeholders. While there were restrictions on the archaeological zone, David stepped in and offered a directional drilling methodology to get the job done smoothly and safely. We truly found that David and his team have a “Whatever it takes” attitude.
Additionally, their core values were in alignment with ECC’s core values “Friendship, People, Safety, Service, and Prosperity”. ECC strongly believes that Logan Marine will be one of the best-growing organizations in the near future.
Senior Program Manager, ECCDefinitely will continue working with Logan Marine. Mr. Logan is a knowledgable and motivated individual who is willing to take the extra steps necessary to complete a project. He deals with typical project problems and deficiencies in an effective and timely manner.
General Manager, Civil Works ContractingWe were thrilled to see our pier completely intact looking like new after the power washing by Hurricane Florence. The floating deck platforms gave just enough so the pilings were not driven up or dislodged during the lengthy pounding during the high tides. We had expected to return to find a pier with no deck and pilings going in different directions, facing an expensive rebuild as had been the experience of our two previous piers. All 470 feet of your pier held together just fine with no damage. All of the shingles on the 24′ x 24′ gazebo at the end are still in place, too. We sat out there after the storm thanking our lucky stars.
We are very impressed with the work done by you and your crew and you should all be proud you make a pier to last through the worst. Living across from the North End of Carolina Beach at the Inlet we received the full wave and wind action with no protection.
Again, Thank you for building a sturdy pier that doesn’t need to be rebuilt.
